What does this mean for you?

1. Introduction:

Welcome to the Dayrade® Day Trading Tournament (“Tournament”), an eSport event that blends the excitement of competitive gaming with the fast-paced world of day trading. These Official Rules (“Rules”) are established to ensure a fair and equitable competition for all participants (“Players”). By participating, you agree to comply with these Rules and any additional guidelines provided by Dayrade®.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

Players must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

2.2 Residency

The Tournament is open to Players worldwide, except where prohibited by local laws and regulations.

2.3 Compliance

Players must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to gaming and financial trading in their jurisdiction.

2.4 Disqualification

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Dayrade® and its affiliates are not eligible to participate.

3. Registration

3.1 Registration Period

  Players must register during the official registration period as announced on the Dayrade® website.

3.2 Required Information

   Accurate personal information must be provided, including full name, valid email address, and proof of eligibility (e.g., government-issued ID).

3.3 Account Creation

   Players must create a Dayrade® account and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

3.4 Registration Fee

  A registration fee may be required. Details will be provided during the registration process.

4. Tournament Format

4.1 Tournament Categories

Elevator Tournament

Simulated trading (SIM) tournament designed for Players to learn and compete.

Runs from the 1st to the end of each month.

Top 10% of Players receive a ticket to the Crusader Tournament (valued at $69) with the opportunity to win $1,000.

Crusader Tournament

Three-day SIM tournament.

Features 10 prizes of $1,000 each or a $2,000 Zimtra account with no cash equivalent.

Raider Tournament

Five-day real trading professional tournament.

Prize Structure:

Top Prize – Most Profitable Trader: $50,000 cash + $250K account with a $20K stop + the ability to keep all earnings.

Largest Volume of Shares (over $1): $10,000 cash + $50K account with a $2.5K stop + the ability to keep all earnings.

Single Most Profitable Trade: $10,000 cash + $50K account with a $2.5K stop + the ability to keep all earnings.

Trading leverage: 1:20.

Maximum loss: $10,000.

Maximum daily loss: $5,000.

4.2 Stages

Qualifiers: Open to all registered Players.

Semi-Finals: Top Players from the Qualifiers advance.

Finals: The highest-ranked Players compete for the grand prize.

4.3 Schedule

Specific dates and times for each stage will be published on the Dayrade® website.

4.4 Time Zones

All times are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) unless otherwise specified.

Trading Rules

5.1 Virtual Trading Environment

All trading in the Elevator and Crusader Tournaments will occur in a simulated environment using virtual currency provided by Dayrade.

5.2 Real Trading Environment

The Raider Tournament involves real trading using live accounts, subject to specific constraints outlined in these Rules.

5.3 Starting Capital

Each Player starts with an equal amount of virtual capital or live capital as applicable.

5.4 Trading Instruments

Permitted instruments include specified stocks, forex pairs, commodities, and cryptocurrencies as outlined before each stage.

5.5 Trading Platform

Trades must be executed using the official Dayrade® trading platform.

5.6 Trading Hours

Trading is permitted only during designated hours, aligning with real-world market hours.

5.7 Leverage and Margin

Standardized leverage and margin requirements apply to all Players and will be communicated in advance.

5.8 Order Types

All standard order types are available (market, limit, stop-loss, etc.).

Scoring and Ranking

6.1 Performance Metrics

Net Profit/Loss: Total virtual or real profit or loss generated.

Return on Investment (ROI): Percentage gain or loss on starting capital.

Risk-Adjusted Return: Calculated using metrics like the Sharpe Ratio.

6.2 Leaderboard

A real-time leaderboard will display rankings based on performance metrics.

6.3 Tiebreakers

In the event of a tie, the Player with the lower maximum drawdown will rank higher.

Conduct and Fair Play

7.1 Code of Conduct

Players must exhibit professionalism, integrity, and respect towards others.

7.2 Prohibited Actions

Market Manipulation: Coordinated actions to manipulate prices are forbidden.

Collusion: Sharing information or strategies with other Players to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.

Use of Unauthorized Software: The use of bots, scripts, or any automated trading software is not allowed.

Exploiting Glitches: Taking advantage of platform vulnerabilities is strictly forbidden.

7.3 Communication

Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language in any form of communication is prohibited.

Disqualification and Penalties

8.1 Grounds for Disqualification

Violation of any Rules.

Providing false registration information.

Unsportsmanlike conduct.

8.2 Procedure

Warnings may be issued for minor infractions.

Severe or repeated violations may result in immediate disqualification.

8.3 Appeals

Players may submit a written appeal within 24 hours of a disqualification notice.

Prizes

9.1 Prize Pool

The total prize pool and distribution breakdown will be announced prior to the Tournament start date.

9.2 Prize Distribution

Prizes are awarded based on final rankings in the Tournament.

9.3 Tax Responsibility

Players are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with prize winnings.

9.4 Disbursement

Prizes will be disbursed within 30 days after the Tournament concludes, pending verification.

Broadcasting and Media Rights

10.1 Consent

By participating, Players grant Dayrade® the right to use their name, likeness, and gameplay for promotional purposes.

10.2 Live Streaming

Players are permitted to live-stream their gameplay, provided there is a delay of at least 5 minutes to prevent unfair advantages.

Confidentiality

11.1 Non-Disclosure

Players must not disclose any confidential information obtained through participation.

Technical Issues

12.1 Responsibility

Players are responsible for their own technical equipment and internet connection.

12.2 Platform Failures

In the event of platform-wide technical issues, Dayrade® will communicate any necessary adjustments or rescheduling.

Amendments

13.1 Rule Changes

Dayrade® reserves the right to modify these Rules. Changes will be communicated to all Players promptly.

Limitation of Liability

14.1 Assumption of Risk

Participation is at the Player’s own risk. Dayrade® is not liable for any losses or damages.

Governing Law

15.1 Jurisdiction

These Rules are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands, and any disputes will be resolved in its courts.
